Hello, are you out there??

A wise woman once asked me (yesterday) "Megan, all your friends are getting married...doesn't that make you feel bad?"

To answer that question...its a toss up, yes and no, black and white, or however you want to answer it. No, I'm not mad, sad, or angry that my friends are getting married. That is great, I am so happy for them, (and hope they invite lots of single guys to the wedding), and sometimes it does bother me, because most of the time, I do go to these weddings alone or with girl friends. Yes, because I just sit and wonder, where is my happiness, my prince is armor (or fat boy in tin foil), my Micheal Hosea....

BUT, everything has a plan and reason behind it. Maybe I'm not meant to meet the man of my dreams at this moment in life, maybe I'm suppose to meet them 2 years down the road, 5 years or maybe even 10...I have a feeling God knows what he is doing, just because I don't, doesn't mean I should get impatient in the matter.

If the wise woman would have said that last year at this time, I would have thought differently. I would have felt bad, and even yelled at the good man above for making me wait so long. But it's not Megan's world, it's God's.

This following verse is so true. When I finally fall in love, it's going to be love, not lust. It's going to be 99% perfect....1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking ...

This last year of my life, has really been a hard one for me personally. Most people (and even some of my close friends) doesn't know what I've went through, and most will never know, but know there is a God who loves you, and won't stop loving you...he will never give up nor forsaken you (pretty sure that's a bible verse).

Lori 'Lolo' Jones is one of my personal heroes, because I am like her in so many ways. No, I can't jump over 100 hurdles in 2 seconds, but we have one thing common. I look up to her in so many ways. (If you want to read more about her, just click her name) Another lady I look up to is Mo Isom, who was a LSU soccer player. She influences me daily.

I'll end with this....wait for Mr. Right, not Mr. Right now....because Mr. Right-Now, will leave you for his Mrs. Right.

Amazing, how that happens!

So, I get up early this morning as I always do...I get in my car and go to leave because I had PT at 7:45...I don't remember leaving the radio station on 91.7, but it was on there this morning...

I get in my car, and Britt Nicole's song "Walk on Water" is on...i suggest you listen to it if you haven't....but, anyway, the first words I hear of the song, "what are you waiting for? What do you have to lose....you were for more, don't be afraid to lose because faith is all it takes to walk on the water too."

I pondered that for a while, because lately I have done Megan's way, and it sure isn't working! What am I waiting for? A bright light, piano dropping on my head? What is holding me back from doing God's duty? Then my bitterness came out, oh yeah, no good job, bills....I'm struggling down here God!

Then after this the song God's not dead came on...I pondered again, I know your not dead God....but I still don't know what you want me to do?

Anyways, my morning was interesting, after arguing with God's but then understanding....I know I'm no where near the person I need to be, but me and God are working on it!

To see through the eyes of a child.

Tonight I was reading the paper...The Sun Herald to be exact (on-line). I saw a title Children covered in feces...I was like, wow, they are talking about Africa in a Mississippi new papers...BOY, was I wrong.
There is the website...
This lady allowed her 4 children to be in there own poo and pee, for days, and left a baby strapped in a car seat with spoiled milk. To me, that tells me, she DOESN'T CARE!

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

These children are a gift from God, and this woman is treating them like they are a dead armadillo on the side of the road, but, I was thinking to myself. I would love to have them children...even other adults will love to have those children. It really erks me that there is people in the world that would do this to little children who doesn't know any better. A 3 month old drinking spoiled milk is ridiculous. I bet the dogs ate better then the kids in that house. I have a friend who has been trying to have kids for years...and when I say years, I mean like 5 or 6 years. It makes me irrational that these girls will flat-back, but then do not take the responsibility when the so called "mistake" is done. I'm sorry but a baby...a human being...is not a mistake, and never will be in my book. I really hope these children get adopted into a nice home, and never has to go back to that god-forsaken woman that they have for a mom.

“A child needs both to be hugged and unhugged. The hug lets her know she is valuable. The unhug lets her know that she is viable. If you’re always shoving your child away, they will cling to you for love. If you’re always holding them closer, they will cling to you for fear.” -Billy Graham

It takes more then an edited picture to make someone Beautiful.

You can do alot with a photo by editing it.
The picture above was before I edited it.
The picture below is after I edited it.
Notice the difference...

What changed?
Brown to blue eyes.
High Lights.
Lip color.
flawless skin.
Skinnier face.
Tan.

Psalm 139:14

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

What does that mean??
Well it means you are created in the image of God.
And, I don't know if you know it, but God doesn't make any junk either.
Every person is unique...kind of like a snowflake.
No two people are the same.
Personalities,
looks,
attitude,
etc.
We're all different.
When God sees you, he sees a masterpiece.
Someone he made in the womb,
hand-crafted and molded,
and when you look in the mirror you should know the Lord doesn't make mistakes.

I'll give you tip...write this verse down on an index card, sheet of paper, restaurant napkin. Then tape it to a place you see everyday...i.e. bathroom mirror, front door, on roof above bed...as a reminder of how much God loves you and cares for you.

To the world you might be an ugly piece of trash, but to the Lord you are a work of art.

Hope you have Grahams of Moore fun on a Breesy day!

So, life lately has been interesting to say the least. LSU lost, the Saints lost, I'm losing fantasy basketball....this stinks!

I cried when the Saints lost....it hurt my heart so much.

Rollercoster....when I say that what do you think of? I think about my life. How it's up, and then down, and repeats that cycle over and over. When it gets to crazy, you want to puke...or just when you think it's over, Bam, something else happens. In the last couple days, I have come to terms with, I am my own person, and only I can make the path I take.

I take the GRE in 2 weeks. I have applied to 2 graduate schools. The first one being LSU...now if you know me, you know I LOVE LSU. It's a dream of mine to go there. I'm working so hard to get a job over there, and to actually get into LSU. The second place I applied is good ole Southern Miss. What can I say it's easy to get in...so of course it would be my 2nd choice. But, I know no matter what, I'm going to grad-school, and I'm pumped.

My bfffff Courtney is awesome...she's going with me, so I'm not a loner too bad, and stuck in school work like all the time.

anyways, I love Hosea Cracker.....he is awesomely awesome. I'm in love with him.

3 of my 5 fish died tonight....I cried. RIP Bach-3D, Mozart, and Calcium!

Peace and Blessings!

Thanksgiving....pilgrim style!

I decided in honor of Thanksgiving, I would make turkey sandwiches for the homeless....obvi, there is no homeless people in Saucier, but I did give to a needy family, drank 24 Gatorades in a week, so the food pantry could have bottles to put things in, and bought food for the car behind me at chickfila! So, this week was a very successful week. Sometimes I forget how lucky I am for the life I live. Some people would die to have my life...and I sometimes take it for granted...I take that back, I more than sometimes take it for granted. If one person did one thing nice a week for someone, over 65 billion nice things would be done for people. That is alot, with only doing 1 thing a week. We are sometimes so selfish, like children with new toys. The world can change, and it takes that one person changing it. When Christmas time rolls around...I planned doing alot more nice things for people!

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle....I work out!

When I walk to the spot, this is what I see....everybody looking at me.

Look, I can't help that I'm sexy...and I know it. LMFAO wrote the song about me. I'm big, but atleast I'm beautiful too. I think highly of myself. Hey, it takes a long time to look this good. I might have a broken nose, but dang I'm fly. I look in the mirror, and can't help to use pick up lines on myself. Boys are crazy not to be going after me....I'm nice, bathe regular, and have super rad shoes. I'm a dime, baby!

I'm the best thing you never had :)

Don't run away from life...

Do you run away from the problems in your life...or do you hit them on top of the nail with the hammer? Why avoid what you can not get away from! People run from a lot of things....hate, prejudice, pessimists, and maybe run a little late. Are you running your life, or is it running you? Sometimes you might run from your past if it's bad enough. What happens when your lies become the truth, will you still run or will you seek help?

The world is not going to stop spinning, and everyday you're going to be faced with a new disaster...are you going to keep running, or you going to face your fears, and get the job done? Things come undone in life...it happens, but don't run away, because it will just make you weaker as a person.

Sometimes we're so tired we run on fumes...and never stop to smell the roses. We overload ourselves, with selfish junk...when we don't do what is needed it just like having the sands slipping right through that glass...just wasted time. People run from love, all the time. They run from God, and they run from their husbands and wives.

If people stop running, and start facing their problems, the world would be one better place. We wouldn't have as many fights, and brake ups. But, sometimes running can be a good thing...to get in shape, running for president, having the runs....

So...I have one question for you...Do you run away when the times get tough, or do you stay and fight like a candle in the wind!!

alsdkf;awjerfna;jvn <<<< sorry there was a spider on my keyboard.

Okay..so, I go to the Saucier mall aka Dollar General, alot. You should see some of the people who go there. I mean someone has to say this...

GIRLS: get some more clothes on...I know we're from Saucier and all, and all the girls are trashy, but seriously, don't go to the dollar store with a tank top for a baby, and shorts that could fit a 5 year old.

BOYS: No one wants to know you beat your wife, so stop wearing them white shorts with holes in it....and get some shoes on! Old ladies...your old, get over it, so stop dressing like your in your twenties again, and get a bra on, no body wants to see that!

Sorry, somebody has to say it!!

Thin as a rail or fat as a whale...

A weight is just a number. For some people it's a happy number, for some people it's a sad number. Some people envy other's people number, and some people just like to talk about people's number. We all fit in one of these catagories.

Why people worry about their weight, I don't know. I'm fat and happy, or fluffy and excited...whatever you are, you should just be happy. WEIGHT is JUST A NUMBER. It's a number on a scale, it's a number on paper, or it's a number in our head. People should love the way you are, because you love the way you are. If you want to change the way you are, and only you then do something about it, but if you are happy with what you look like, be happy. Be excited, and live life to the fullest.

Some people just want to see you fail, but they're really are people rooting for you.

SO, people need to stop talking about all this weight issue. Be happy, Live free, stop being nosey!

Harriet's Pottery is in England not Mississippi

Yeah...I have a cat named Harriet Potter. Her name is Harriet, because I thought she was a boy, but she really she was a girl, so her name was changed from Harry Potter to Harriet Potter, and I love her to pieces.

I have a little obsession over Harry Potter, like I love them. I could watch the movies all day long. I think it's just cause they speak british. Every night before I go to bed I watch atleast 30 minutes of a Harry Potter movie. It's just how I am. I like to end my night in british dialect.

My British accent is the best. Everytime I speak to my new little cousin Gavin, I use a british accent. Maybe he'll speak it when he starts talking, ha. I'm going to speak to my kids in a british accent until they are 5 so they'll be the cool kids in school!!

Things that make you go hummmmm....

Why does the wedding ring go on the left hand? If he is Mr. Right, shouldn't it go on the right hand...

Why do we park in driveways and drive on parkways? I mean, we do PARK in DRIVEways...

How is it that a building burns up as it burns down?

What hair color do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?

What are Preparation A through Preparation G? I guess there with the other 6-ups.

How do "Do not walk on the grass" signs get there?

How is it possible to have a civil war? All the wars I've seen are mean, not very civilized.

How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings? Fly??

Why do hot dogs come 10 to a package and hot dog buns only 8? Maybe it's cause they know people will burn some.

Start thinking about all this...you never know!!

I want a love like....

Have you ever noticed Johnny and June Cash really did have a great story behind their love for each other? The song by Heidi C. is one of my favorites.... "I want a love like Johnny and June, ring of fire, burning on through, I want to walk to line with you. When you go I want to go too. Like Johnny and June."

Their is so much passion in those few words. Johnny and June over came so many things...and when she died, he couldn't go without her, so he died right after her. It's kind of like Noah and Allie on The Notebook...when she died, he died with her laying down together. Their love for each other was so strong, one couldn't live without the other. Another example of this is, Darcy and Elizabeth...like Johnny and June, they let pride get in the way of being with each other. Elizabeth didn't realize the good in Darcy until it was almost to late, but she did, and it ended up being one of the best love stories around. Noah and Allie over came different things, her moving away, him going to war, her getting caught naked in Noah's house by her mom. Him almost losing her again, because she left. Her almost getting married.

Relationships were so passionate back then. There was real love for each other. These days, if you don't like your husband or wife, you just divorce them. That's just not right. When I find love, I want it all, the giddiness, the fighting slamming doors, the surprises, the sharing, the caring...I want everything that comes with it. I want a love like these loves gave. If you noticed no one has a pitch perfect love story...as Noah said in the Notebook..."It's not going to easy, it's going to hard, but we're going to work at it everyday, all day." I think if couple these days really realize what they have and cherish it more, we wouldn't live in such a harshish world.

So, I guess, I want a love like Johnny and June, Noah and Allie, and Darcy and Elizabeth.

I wrote this in red for love and to support the cure for aids!!

WHO DAT?? idk, who? DEM SAINTS, DATS WHO!

It's Jersday...NFL Season opener which is Green Bay vs. The Saints....I'M PUMPED. I have my black and gold on, and black and yellow playing in the background.
British soldiers wore red coats so that when they were shot, their enemy couldn't see them bleed.I looked that up in a history book...it kind of makes you wonder why the packers wears yellow pants? Make me wonder...

The Saints in the South is more then a football team...it's like a tradition. When we won the superbowl in 2010...it was amazing!
Peace, Love, and Dem Saints :)

This was a great weekend...for a duck!

I spent this weekend looking for an ark, because it rained and rained and rained and rained...you get the picture.

People were scrambling to get to the store and get water and food...food I understand, but water? If they just put some buckets out side they would have had all the water they ever wanted!
Tropical Storm Lee...it was fun, but after 12 hours of non-stop rain...we started getting cabin fever. Ashton, Courtney, and me had to start looking for stuff today. Living in Saucier, your prone to be a redneck...it's just how it is. We get the bright idea, lets drag Ashton around the yard like we're tubing on water. So, that's what we did, but instead of a boat we had a four-wheeler, and instead of a tub, we had a bread rack...Our original plan was to watch Disney movies, but who does that when we have mud outside?
Overall this weekend goes down in the memory books. IT WAS FUN!

Tales of an ER patient

Once upon a time...All tales start like that, so I figured mine would too!

Spending half your day in an hospital is not really what normal people tend to do. Hypochondriacs, yes! But, me? No. Especially when your in pain. If I wouldn't have known better, I would have thought Jesus done blessed me like Mary...but thankfully, the Lord knows me well enough, that me being a mother is scarier then a haunted house right now. I get up around 5ish in the morning, and my back was hurting. My first thought, "Man, I must of slept wrong." So I get up and start stretching, and make my way to the bathroom. The pain just got worst and worst. So I took some medicine and try and lay down...that didn't work, I made it to my computer desk and had to sit, the pain was consuming me, and I felt like I would die any moment because I couldn't breath. My mom came in and ask what's wrong, where's it hurt? I curled in a ball on the ball, because that was the only position that felt the least pain. Then I begin getting sick and we're not going into details...let's just say, it was decided I'm going to the hospital!

Leaving in Saucier, your 30 minutes or more from the nearest hospital. I gritted my teeth, and took on the drive. Every bump and stop and little movement had me clenching my pillow in pain. The ER lady who checked me in took one look at me and said, "you're going straight back!" I was so thankful, I didn't want to sit in a waiting room while my insides were ripping apart. I was put in a room for observation, and they even gave me a pain monitor. My spikes were so high, the doctor was amazed that I wasn't screaming out.

After blood was taken, cat scans, and xrays too....the doctor finally came back after 3 hours of waiting...kidney stones, so many you can make stone soup. 2 were in my system trying to find there way out, while one is still in my kidney. Great, kidney stones, who knew...he sent me to a urologist, which really does smell there apple juice before drinking it, who knew! After spending from 7 in the morning to 4 in the evening in a hospital room, I was free to go, but only to return tomorrow where I had appointments lined up for different doctors.

My ER visit was good, other then the pain, but that's okay, I met many new friends, and even talked to a few people in there own little rooms. I did learn one thing, if kidney stones are like giving birth.....bring on the kids!
